Daddy-Role-Model

I know everybody has a role model. Everybody needs a role model. But first of all, what is the definition of 'role model'? Here's what wikipedia says role model is:
The term role model generally means any "person who serves as an example, whose behavious is emulated by others.
Usually, everbody's first role models are their parents. However, there can be good role model and not-good role model (instead of saying 'BAD' role model). That's why it is important for parents to control themselves because whatever they do, children will follow. Just like how the quote "like father like son" means.

But something I should be grateful about is I have an amazing father. I think he's not like other fathers and nobody in this world can ever replace him. The reason is because he is uptight and fun at the same time. But beside that, there are several reasons why I love him.

The first reason is because he loves my mom and his family. He knows just how to show that he cares for us and I think not everyone can do that. No matter how busy he is, he's always got opportunity for his family. Usually he spends his time with us by going out together, sharing each other's interests, playing games, and many more. Those are actually things you wanna do with your friends. But daddy's got a thing to make us glad.

Another reason is how protective he is. Often, I have trouble asking for permission from my parents to do things without their supervision, especially with my dad. Usually I go like, "Oh come on why won't you trust me! I'm not 5 anymore!" But usually then I realize that he just wants to protect me and he doesn't want anything bad to happen. So I think, parents are being protective is not for their own good but ours.

Beside those reasons, I love him because he is really devoted to God. He doesn't see things only according to his thought but also to God's opinion. This really impacts my life, too, because he teaches me that I need God and I can't live without Him. God's love to us is inseparable. I grew up with his advice to live according to God's world and to worship him. That's not all. Every Sunday night, dad gathers all of us and pray together. This is one routine in my family that has made many people amazed. Because I know, not every family has enough time to do that. But things like that are important.

Sooooo,, yes. That's it. That is HOW my dad has really been my role model. ;))
